Connect Your Wallet
Catpound runs on two chains — Ethereum mainnet and Robinhood Chain. Any standard EVM wallet works.
What you need
- A browser wallet — MetaMask, Rabby, Rainbow, or any WalletConnect-compatible wallet. On desktop, the browser extension is smoothest.
- ETH for gas — creating a flow, listing, buying and claiming are each a transaction, on whichever chain the flow lives. Both chains use ETH as their gas token.
That is all. There is nothing to deposit and no token to acquire first: a buyer pays in ETH, and a creator already has the fee right that Catflow sells.
Connect
- Open catpound.org.
- Click Connect in the top-right of the header.
- Pick your wallet from the list and approve the connection.
- Your address appears in the header once connected.
Catpound uses RainbowKit for wallet connections. It reads your address and asks for transaction signatures when you act. It never asks for your seed phrase, and it never asks for a private key — no legitimate app ever will.
Your seed phrase is the master key to your funds. Never share it. Never type it into a website. Never store it in a text file, a screenshot, or a cloud service.
Network
Catpound runs on Ethereum mainnet (chain ID 1) and Robinhood Chain (chain ID 4663). The header carries a network switch. If your wallet is on the wrong one, the app prompts you to change before a transaction is sent.
A flow lives on exactly one chain: the Ethereum and Robinhood markets are separate, and their flow IDs are unrelated.
Wrong network or stuck transaction?
- Wrong network — switch to the chain the flow is on, or let the app prompt you.
- Pending transaction — each action is its own transaction, so a stuck transaction only blocks itself. You can speed it up or replace it from your wallet.
- Rejected in wallet — nothing was sent. Try again.
Read-only mode
You can browse the whole app without connecting. Every flow, listing, price and fee is a public on-chain read. A wallet is only needed to create a flow, list it, buy it, or claim.
